Michael Savage attacks Muslims on talk radio

Brave New Films has produced a short video condemning the religious bigotry of radio talk-show host Michael Savage.  All proceeds raised by this film will benefit The Interfaith Alliance, so help us spread the word. If we have learned anything since September 11, 2001, it should be that we need to find ways to build bridges between communities, not push them further apart. Brave New Films has done an excellent job of encapsulating Michael Savage’s ignorance.

You may view the video by clicking here. The video’s website also provides links to the website MediaMatters which reports two vitriolic statements made by Savage in 2006. In November he claimed that lawmakers should ban both Muslim immigration and the construction of mosques. In addition, MediaMatters reports that in April 2006, while complaining about Muslims, Savage carried on as follows:
“They say, 'Oh, there's a billion of them.'…: I said, 'So, kill 100 million of them, then there'd be 900 million of them.' I mean ... would you rather us die than them? …Would you rather we disappear or we die? Or would you rather they disappear and they die? Because you're going to have to make that choice sooner rather than later."

The video website provides links by which you can contact his advertisers and complain about their commercial support of this program. The “Campaign Updates” section of the “NoSavage” website provides updates about the effectiveness of this campaign. The website reports that as of 1/29/08, several advertisers, including Union Bank of California, ITT Tech, Intuit, and GEICO have instructed radio stations which host Savage Nation to NOT run their ads during his program.
