Korean Zen Master at Riverside Church
September 15, 2011

On behalf of the historic Riverside Church in NYC, we want to personally extend an invitation that we think will be of great interest to you and your community. On September 15, one of the greatest masters of Korean Zen meditation, (and a direct dharma descendant of the Buddha!) will speak to a western audience for the first time. Master Jinje will speak in front of 2000 people, surrounded by traditional pageantry and chants. Food and reception will follow. We would love to have you attend.

Master Jinje teaches the distinctive questioning meditation practice, that is at least 800 years old. In his teachings, Master Jinje forces us to see ourselves through the eyes of our true self, thus evoking compassion and a greater sense of unity with others.

By challenging our own fundamental beliefs, challenging our own understanding of self, right and wrong, enemy and friend, Korean questioning meditation opens the possibility of a entirely new way of perceiving our world, a new way of thinking in which clinging to our own views alone is not enough.

The event is free of charge, but we do ask that guests RSVP as space is limited. For more information and to RSVP, please see www.jinje.us. If you know of anyone in your community who you think would be interested as well, feel free to pass on the word.

Should you have any questions, please email us at rsvpjinje@gmail.com. We hope to see you at the event.
