The Interfaith Alliance - Long Island Chapter sadly notes the passing of Walter Cronkite, the Honorary Chair of Interfaith Alliance - National.  Mr. Cronkite had a long and distinguished career as a newsman, serving for many years as anchor for the CBS Evening News. He has been affiliated with Interfaith Alliance since 1997.

Several TIA-LI members had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Cronkite and commented on his decency as well as his commitment to TIA's mission. He will be sadly missed.
